Sensor Description
The GSENSE400 is a 4.2 Megapixel resolution CMOS image sensor with 11μm patented pinned photodiode pixels. The sensor operates in electronic rolling shutter and features extremely low readout noise of 1.47e-. The peak quantum efficiency of the sensor could reach 58% without using μlens. The GSENSE400 has two operation modes, STD mode in 48 frames per second or HDR mode which is optimized for high dynamic range applications with 24 frames per second. And in HDR mode, the sensor dynamic range is more than 96dB. The feature of high sensitivity, low readout noise and high dynamic range makes it perfect for a variety of scientific applications.
